Children are welcome in the cottage. No charge for under 2's. Please provide your own cot. Payment terms : We accept cash, cheque, money order, Visa card, Mastercard and direct deposit. Full payment is required at time of booking for all 1 night bookings. A 50% deposit is required to secure bookings of 2 nights or more. The balance is payable no later than 14 days prior to arrival. Cancellation policy: A full refund of the deposit paid less the greater of 10%* of the total amount paid or $25 * will be given if the booking is cancelled more than 30 days in advance. Cancellations notified less than 30 days but more than 14 days prior to arrival forfeit the full amount paid, however you may use the payment as a credit for future accommodation within a 12 month period from the date of the original booking, subject to availability. Any alterations to the length of stay i.e. shortening of a booking, will be charged in full unless 14 days notice prior to arrival is given. Kangaroo Island Stopover Port Elliot is an excellent base for visiting Kangaroo Island. After a night or two staying at Trafalgar House, it's about an hours drive or bus ride to the Cape Jervis Ferry Terminal where you can take the Sealink Ferry to Kangaroo Island for a day tour or longer stay.
